There are moments in nature when the familiar becomes something altogether different.

At Whisby Nature Park in Lincolnshire, a gentle breeze moved across the surface of a woodland pool, transforming the reflection of silver birch trees into soft, wavering lines. Their distinctive white trunks lost their familiar form, dissolving into layers of muted green, silver and blue. For a moment, the reflection seemed almost marble-like — an abstract painting created entirely by light, water and movement.

I was drawn to the feeling within that fleeting transformation rather than simply the trees themselves. The image became less about recording a particular woodland and more about the quiet, dreamlike impression it left behind.

Silver Echoes is an exploration of reflection, movement and memory — a reminder that nature is never quite still, and that sometimes its most beautiful moments are found in the things that are almost impossible to see twice.

Created using intentional camera movement, this fine art photograph sits somewhere between photography and painting, with soft painterly textures and an ethereal sense of movement. It is designed to bring a feeling of calm and contemplation to the space around it.

Each print is Giclée printed to fine art standards and produced as a limited edition, making it a distinctive piece of artwork for a contemporary or traditional interior.

Your artwork will be sustainably packaged and well protected, but on the rare occasion there are issues, we will always provide a replacement at no extra cost. More information here.

All papers and wood-based materials are sourced from Forestry Stewardship Council certified sustainable sources. Packaging materials have been carefully selected to reduce the impact on the environment whilst still ensuring your artwork gets to you in perfect condition. Plastics are kept to a minimum and all packaging materials are sustainably sourced, being a mixture of recycled, recyclable or biodegradable materials.
