The Lone Tree — Limited Edition Fine Art Print

A solitary tree stands rooted in the still waters of Llyn Padarn, Llanberis, surrounded by the mountains of Snowdonia. Captured just before sunrise, the scene was enveloped in a layer of drifting mist, creating an atmosphere of extraordinary calm and stillness.

As dawn approached, the soft blue-hour light gave way to beautiful pink and violet tones across the sky and water. The tree, standing alone amongst the rocks and reflections, became a quiet focal point within the vast landscape.

This image was awarded Winner of the Breathing Spaces category in International Garden Photographer of the Year (IGPOTY) 2024, and was subsequently featured in the IGPOTY exhibition and book.

A timeless image for those drawn to atmospheric landscapes, quiet moments and the sense of solitude found in the natural world.
